What is Foidos Chess ?
Foidos Chess is a live chess broadcasting application which does live coverage of the the World Chess Championship match between Viswanathan Anand and Vladimir Kramnik, starting October 14th in Bonn, Germany.
Foidos Chess uses five parallel video streams displaying the up close and personal images of World Champion Viswanathand Anand and Challenger Vladimir Kramnik bringing to you in real time the stresses, strains and triumphs of World Championship Chess. Along with the video streaming of the players, Foidos features commentaries by top Grandmasters in German (Artur Yussupov, Dr Helmut Pfleger, Klaus Bischoff), English (Yasser Seirawan), Spanish (Miguel Illescas) and Russian (Adrian Mikhalchishin). Additionally, we have a roaming reporter making short interviews with outstanding personalities visiting Bonn.
Internet viewers are welcome to ask questions via chat functions with the commentators bringing an unprecedented interactive experience to the internet audience.
Foidos Chess brings entertainment too. Tea Lanchava, our roaming reporter will bring live interview with VIP, guests, visitors and a lot of other entertainment from the location itself.
